Students de-stress before finals with Winter Fest

Ohio University Culinary Services put on their third annual Winter Fest December 4 to help students de-stress before finals week. The director of culinary services says the main goal of this event is to engage students with fun activities such as an ice skating rink in Nelson Dining Hall, making rootbeer floats and decorating cookies. OU School of Dance performs Senior Capstone Concert

Every year, seniors in the School of Dance have the opportunity to showcase what they've learned with the Senior Capstone Concert. They can chose to either choreograph a group dance or their own solo. Seniors say they love incorporating different classes into their dances to show off the many ranges of talent. Sunday, November 17, the first ever International Student Documentary Film Festival was put on by CIS. This festival allowed for international students to share more about their stories and traditions. Richland Avenue Playground receives $20,000 for renovations

The Richland Avenue Playground received a $20,000 Changing Lives Grant from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Foundation to renovate the playground. The project will replace broken equipment and install accessible, inclusive equipment. The project is underway and set to be completed in the fall of 2024.
