Not only does borrowing books instead of buying them save money, but it also supports authors and allows for more shared growth both personally and communally. Alden Library and Athens Public Library in Ohio offer resources, reinstating this historic tradition of free and shared entertainment.

Goodfella's workers share stories, ask for manners

Goodfella’s, a local pizza joint of Athens, stays open late to serve hungry weekenders and the closing staff of Court Street. The employees bond over stories of calling police to break up fights, the mysterious stolen parmesan and the art of rolling dough into a perfect rectangle for their signature thick, corner slice. All they ask is for a little more courtesy and kindness from the late-night crowd.
