Nurturing OUr Nature: Campus groups bring awareness to nature

There are many different groups at Ohio University that help positively affect environmental action on campus. I have highlighted three different organizations that have not only played a significant role in my own awareness, but are constantly looking for students to get involved.

Clean energy explored during summit

They don’t have cell-phone reception but they’ve got a grange and a pretty neat new wastewater facility. It’s the good-old town of Amesville, OH and they’ve got some things to say about energy.

Reading day to be benificial to students

A reprieve from fall semester academic fatigue is coming to •Ohio University students for the first time this year on •Friday, Oct. 3rd in the form of a short “fall break” dubbed Reading Day.
