The Black History Month Committee hosted an event to highlight African American studies research. The event included awarding two students the Rev. Dr. Francine C. Child Service Justice Scholarship Endowment and showcasing faculty in the African American Studies Department’s research.
“Space is the second-most costly thing we have at the university behind people,” Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration John Day said.
A press conference was held Thursday to address the $500,000 grant the U.S. Department of Agriculture awarded to the Sustainable Ohio Public Energy Council. The council will put the funds toward aiding farmers and small businesses’ projects and ensuring it is energy efficient.
