Faculty rallies for a better work environment

UAOU await university recognition for unionization

As OU faculty continue to fight for unionization, the university responded to UAOU’s letter March 7 indicating the request does not meet the minimum requirement outlined in the Ohio Revised Code. However, once the UAOU files a formal and complete request per the revised code, then the university will respond.

Around $450,000 in diversity scholarships are being reviewed

President Lori Stewart Gonzalez, Vice President for Enrollment Management Candace Boeninger and Stacey Bennett, general counsel for OU’s legal department, gave an update to the Faculty Senate Monday night regarding where the university is at with reviewing the scholarships aimed at aiding people of diverse communities.
