The store has served the Athens community for 53 years, supplying people with grocery food items, essential oils, health and beauty products, and a deli serving sandwiches and smoothies.
New delivery service, SNAG, gains attention across campus
ORYZA Asian Grill opened in mid-May and struggled to make revenue without students; however, since welcoming students back on campus in August, sales have been increasing for the third Asian cuisine restaurant along Court Street.
Park’s Place is a casual dining establishment that offers late-night to-go and sit-down meals. Its owner Josh Vernon, said he decided to expand the restaurant out of Amesville and open doors to Ohio University students and Athens residents.
In the midst of being surrounded by boutiques, lively cafes, restaurants, shops and a diverse range of entertainment lies a vibrant atmosphere with a challenge that resonates and tests the patience of many residents and visitors: the troubles of parking on Court Street.
Buddy's Lounge has increased in popularity as it strives to create a welcoming environment for people to hang out and purchase THC, HHC and CBD products that are compliant with the 2018 Federal Farm Bill.
Court Street will be home to a new restaurant named ORYZA Asian Grill at 40 S. Court St. following the completion of construction.
At 14 S. Court St., the Athens location is open until 4 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
