Ball State notes
Ball State is one of the better all-around teams in the conference, with a deep rotation of impactful players. Headlined by the trio of Hill, Sparks and Pearson Jr. and bolstered by the other members of a formidable top-seven minute-getters, the Cardinals have someone to provide any of the team’s needs.
Player to watch: Jermahri Hill
Hill is one of the most explosive scorers in the MAC, with the tendency to dunk just about anything around the rim. He’s not the greatest shooter, making just 22.9% of his 3-point attempts on the season, so Ohio could look to leave him open beyond the arc, but allowing Hill to get downhill and make plays could be detrimental to the Bobcats’ winning streak.
