Ohio began its season with its highest-scoring game since 2004.
If there was a perfect way for Ohio to start the season, it happened Friday night, as the Bobcats beat Murray State 111-60.
It was the first time Ohio hit triple digits since Nov. 19, 2004.
During the 2013-14 season, the team averaged 62.2 points per game. Tonight, the Bobcats lead 62-27 at halftime.
Both junior guard Kiyanna Black and sophomore forward Hannah Boesinger finished the contest with 25 points, while sophomore forward Quiera Lampkins had 19.
Ohio shot 49 percent from the floor and 48 percent on three-point attempts.
For as explosive as the offense was, the defense held the Racers to shooting 23 percent from the floor.
The Bobcats will play their home opener Monday against Wofford.
