Series History:

Ohio leads the all-time series 39-16 against the Eagles but has not won against them since 2018. In that same season, the Eagles were the MAC Tournament champions. The last time these two teams played against each other was Oct. 5, 2019 where Eastern Michigan defeated Ohio 3-1.

Eastern Michigan holds the longest losing streak in the series since 1991. From 2002 to 2018, the Eagles lost 17 in a row to the Bobcats. However, Ohio is currently in the loser’s seat.

Ohio’s offense is going to have to be awake and accurate when they face off. Currently, Eastern Michigan’s Raeven Chase leads the MAC in blocks with 45 in 37 sets. The Bobcats will have to look for new scoring opportunities and be on their toes at the net. However, with the MAC hitting percentage leader Caitlin O’Farrell on their side, the Bobcats will have weapons to use against a strong defense.
