Listening to your favorite artists on the radio and through headphones is fun, but nothing compares to a live music performance. Thanks to COVID-19, summer music festivals were nonexistent last year.
However, this summer, music festivals are back, with regulations like a fixed capacity and masks required in place. Buy your tickets ahead of time, grab a friend and get ready to sing your heart out. Check out our list of summer music festivals you won’t want to miss:
Wonderstruck Music and Arts Festival (July 24-July 25)
Wonderstruck Fest will be taking place in Kirtland, Ohio, at Lakeland Community College. For the two-day festival, Walk the Moon, Third Eye Blind, Portugal. the Man and AJR will be headlining. Buy tickets online to enjoy the food and live music Wonderstruck has to offer.
WonderBus Festival (Aug. 28-Aug. 29)
Columbus will host Wonderbus Fest in late August on The Lawn at CAS. The outdoor festival features Kesha, AJR, Wilco and Grouplove over the span of two days, in addition to supporting acts like The Knocks and Black Pumas. Check out its website to buy tickets that are on sale now.
Country Fest (June 16-19 and July 22-July 24)
Calling all country fans: Country Fest will take place over two parts in Lawrence, Ohio, at Clay’s Park Resort. Part one spans three days: June 16-19. Luke Combs, Old Dominion, Sam Hunt and Chris Janson are the main headliners. Other artists like Raelynn, 8Hardy and Russell Dickerson will be supporting acts.
Part two of Country Fest is July 22-24. Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen and Chris Young will be headlining. Jordan Davis and Lauren Alaina are featured as supporting acts. Tickets can be bought online for one day only or all weekend.
Rolling Loud (July 23-July 25)
Rolling Loud is a rap music festival in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium. A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Post Malone will each headline over a span of three days. Almost every well-known rapper will make an appearance, including 21 Savage, DaBaby and Jack Harlow. Tickets can be bought online starting April 23.
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (Sept. 2-Sept. 5)
Head to Manchester, Tennessee, for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival from Sept. 2-5. On Thursday, the Grand Ole Opry with special guests will take the stage. Then Friday, Foo Fighters and Megan Thee Stallion will headline. Saturday will feature Lizzo and Tame Impala. On Sunday, Tyler, The Creator and Lana Del Rey. Tickets are on sale now on Bonnaroo’s website.
Highway 77 Music Festival (Sept. 12)
The Highway 77 Music Festival will be at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The all-day lineup is top country artists Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Maddie & Tae, Eric Paslay and Tyler Farr. Tickets are available now on its website.
Life is Beautiful Music and Art Festival (Sept. 17-Sept. 19)
Las Vegas will be hosting the Life is Beautiful Music and Art Festival from Sept. 17-19. Unfortunately, tickets are already sold out for the 2021 fest. The lineup includes Green Day, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Meg Thee Stallion and many more.
