Ohio senior Jaime Kosiorek, will miss the remainder of the 2017 season with an ACL injury, according to her Instagram account. The information was confirmed by the athletic department.
The injury occurred in the first set of the Bobcats' match against Dayton on Tuesday night. The match was just the Bobcats' fourth of the season.
In the first match of the season Friday, the outside hitter recorded her 1,000th career kill and was expected to reach a few other milestones throughout the season.
The Bobcats will play their first home game of the season Friday against Georgia at 10 a.m.
