Ohio football has again tapped into the Nebraska pipeline for talent.
Jake Schany, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound running back and defender who likely will play linebacker for the Bobcats, has orally committed to play at Ohio University, according to Rivals.com.
ESPN.com lists Schany as the No. 1 player in Nebraska with a scout grade of 77.
Schany also has offers from Colorado and Tulane. He made his decision last night with a call to the coaching staff, according to Rivals.com.
During his senior season, Schany has racked up 803 yards on 83 carries despite missing a game because of illness.
Last year, he set the single-season Blair High School record for tackles. This year, he has had 49 solo tackles and 28 assisted tackles so far.
