Today is Monday, March 2, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:
Good morning,
McDonald’s has declared today “National Egg McMuffin Day” and will be giving Egg McMuffins to people for free.
Customers will be able to get their free Egg McMuffin between 6 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. through the McDonald’s app. The promotion is perfectly lined up with Wendy’s release of its breakfast line, which is also today.
Though McDonald’s hasn’t openly admitted it, the move was likely a strategy to take attention off Wendy’s breakfast release and put it back on McDonald’s.
