A juvenile told an Athens Police Department officer that a male she knew sexually assaulted her on Sunday night.
According to an APD report, the girl reported the incident on Monday and said it happened on the south side of Athens.
The incident is under investigation and APD is not aware of any current risks to the public, according to the report.
APD received two reports of sexual assault around the beginning of spring break, according to a previous Post report.

In the second report on March 6, a 21-year-old man said a male he didn’t know had sexually assaulted him in Uptown Athens. The press release described the male suspect as 30 years old with a scruffy beard who stands 5 feet and 10 inches tall.
On Feb. 24, a woman reported to APD that someone she knew had raped her on the north end of Athens, according to a previous Post report. OUPD also received its sixth report of rape since the beginning of Spring Semester on Feb. 24.
