Athens City Council members will meet this Monday to discuss paying off the newly purchased ladder fire truck that made its way to Athens earlier this year at Monday’s meeting at 7 p.m.
Funds for improving the city’s wastewater treatment plant will come to a final vote tonight as well as discussion about the adoption of a benefits package for non-union personnel.
Before the end of the fiscal year, members of city council will be adjusting future city council member salaries, appropriating for expenses, creating a non-union pay scale and moving income tax revenues around. A vote will also be taken to give the mayor permission to enter into a revolving loan fund.
