You can get the sandwich at eleven locations in Central Ohio.
Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Monday, Feb. 22, 2016:
If you’re headed north when spring break starts this weekend, you might want to stop around Columbus for a taste of Athens.
Columbus Business First reported last week McDonald’s is slowly rolling out its new Chicken McGriddles, which will be take on a chicken and waffles sandwich — a delicacy Ohio University students may already know well thanks to Uptown Grill on Union Street. The test run was the delicious brainchild of Brian Mortellaro, who owns eight McDonald’s restaurants in Central Ohio, and a couple other local operators.
The glorious initiative will only be available in the U.S. at eleven restaurants near Columbus.
Columbus Business First listed the spots where you can buy one for $1.49 or $2 each. Make your spring break plans accordingly.
