The Mid-American Conference head coaches provided their preseason poll Wednesday afternoon, predicting where teams would finish in their respective divisions. Ohio was predicted to finish third in the MAC East this season after receiving one first place vote and finishing with 48 points.
Miami was selected to win the East this season, earning six votes and 64 points. Buffalo, who is picked to take second in the East, earned four votes and 58 points. The final first place vote went to Akron, who finished last in the poll with 17 points.
Ohio only has a week until it faces its only MAC West opponent Central Michigan, which was predicted to place third in the MAC West.
