Good morning,
As LGBT+ characters are being portrayed more in mainstream media, Hulu dropped season one of its spin-off series to the beloved film “Love, Simon” on Wednesday.
The series, Love, Victor, follows Victor Salazar, who is a new student at Creekwood High in Georgia. Salazar’s story is unique from the original film, with Salazar corresponding with the film’s star through email as he explores the full spectrum of sexuality.
Salazar grapples with feelings for both a female and male classmate at his new school and must also navigate family secrets along with judgment. With 10 episodes and the ability to binge-watch, Love, Victor is the perfect inclusive and heartwarming series to watch as people continue to social distance and quarantine.
