No. 7-seeded Ohio will play No. 6 Northern Illinois in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament on Thursday at Millett Hall in Oxford. It will be the Bobcats’ 18th consecutive appearance in the conferences tournament, and the winner of Thursday’s match will play No. 3 Ball State on Friday at 7 p.m.

- Tia Jimerson, Vera Giacomazzi and Lizzie Stephens were named to the All-MAC First Team on Wednesday. Ohio was one of four teams to have three players honored on the 18-member list.
- Jaime Kosiorek was named to the All-MAC Second Team.
- Northern Illinois had two players, outside hitters Jori Radtke and Meg Wolowicz, named to the All-MAC First Team.
- Ohio last played Northern Illinois in the MAC Tournament in the second round in 2016. The Huskies swept the Bobcats en route to winning the MAC Tournament.
