A former Ohio University administrator pleaded not guilty April 2 in the Athens County Common Pleas Court to four felony charges.
Assistant Registrar Robert C. Myers, 57, of Athens, is charged with two counts of tampering with records and one count each of forgery and drug possession.
Richard Ross, assistant Athens County prosecuting attorney, said Myers has a pretrial hearing scheduled for May 22.
"The attorneys discuss if there is some type of agreement they can reach and if there are things that are going to affect the trial, they are presented to the judge," Ross said.
Myers' trial is scheduled for June 3, according to court records.
The charges stem from July incidents in which Myers allegedly changed seven grades, changed academic standing and requested six transcripts at no cost for OU junior Thomas Joseph Pryor.
OU terminated Myers for incompetence, insubordination, neglect of duty and malfeasance, according to the official written notification of his termination, filed Nov. 15 by OU Registrar Debra Benton.
