To Athens County Primary voters:
I am supporting Todd Grace for judge of the Court of Common Pleas. Here is my analysis.
First, Todd Grace’s 11 years of quasi-judicial experience as a magistrate in juvenile court together with his four years of experience as a substitute judge in municipal court cannot be matched by his opponents in the May 6 Democratic primary.
Equally important, however, is Grace’s experience as an attorney in private practice. The representation of varied private litigants develops the broad background in the law and in life that a judge should have. Candidate Pat Lang’s experience, in contrast, has been almost solely as a government attorney. That’s too narrow.
