What your favorite ‘American Horror Story’ character says about you

As Halloween approaches, many horror fans are returning to the beloved spooky series “American Horror Story.” Over its 12 seasons, “American Horror Story” has produced some iconic characters.

Here is what your favorite “AHS” character says about you.

Tate Langdon

You probably watched “American Horror Story" for the first time in middle school, and completely fell in love with Evan Peters. You probably disregarded the fact that Tate was a psychopath and school shooter and instead focused on his good looks and charisma. You may have thought that liking Tate was angsty and rebellious, but upon rewatching, you’ll probably realize you outgrew this opinion.

Violet Harmon

Similar to Tate, you are probably filled with angst and grew up thinking “Nobody understands me.” You have a cool style and music taste and consider yourself to be “grungy.” You may relate to Violet’s isolated, loner nature and aspire to have her clever and sardonic comebacks for everything. At the end of the day, Violet fans are simply just a more tolerable version of Tate fans.

Lana Winters

You are probably an aspiring journalist who wants to do heavy-hitting investigative reporting. You are stubborn, never back down from a fight and are a quick thinker in a predicament. If dark secrets are hidden, you are willing to sacrifice yourself to expose them. You’re a natural-born leader with determination, a can-do attitude and endless girl energy.

Sister Jude

Many people may find you to be rude, crass or demanding, but your insults only cover up the trauma that has built up over the years, which is masked by your stern, seemingly impassive demeanor. But at your core, you are extremely loyal and would do anything for your friends and family. Regardless of your past, you are a survivor who will end up triumphant.

Kit Walker

You are a mature version of the Tate fans. You are selfless and put others’ well-being before your own. You also typically root for the misunderstood nice guy. Most importantly, you see the good in others even when it’s hard to find.

Misty Day

You probably collect crystals and have an alternative witchy sort of style. Like Misty, Fleetwood Mac is your jam and Stevie Nicks is your idol. You are gentle and kind with the hopefulness of a flower child, and animals of all species are your kindred spirits.

Madison Montgomery

If Madison is your favorite, you have probably molded your personality to model hers. You're quick-witted, but your jokes often come off as insulting. Your wit is sharp and humorous, but often at the expense of others. You often prioritize your self-interests over others, as your narcissism masks your vulnerability.

Cordelia Goode

You probably have a nurturing instinct and are considered the “mom” of your friend group. You are a natural-born leader, and you are dedicated and loyal to your closest friends and family members, even if they have wronged you.

Queenie

You don’t let other people’s insults get to you, and you carry yourself with confidence and pride. People underestimate you and your abilities, but you know your worth and that you are just as capable and intelligent as your peers. It takes a lot to earn your trust, but you would go to war for your closest friends and family.

Twisty the Clown

You have probably never actually seen “American Horror Story;” you have just seen pictures or videos of the terrifying clown from season 4, “Freak Show.” Either that or you are a huge horror movie buff who appreciates a good villain with a complex backstory. You are also probably afraid of clowns.

The Countess

You are either a huge Lady Gaga fan, or you may find The Countess’s mysterious and seductive nature infatuating. Either way, Gaga steals the show every time she’s on the screen in “Hotel,” which is exactly what you do every time you enter a room. Despite her deeply flawed character, The Countess is a fan favorite because she can draw people in, a quality you admire.

Liz Taylor

Outlandish and partial to flamboyant clothing and jewelry, you identify with the unique scene-stealer Liz Taylor. You can talk to anyone, getting them to confide in you their deepest, darkest secrets, yet you have an uncanny ability to know when potential danger is approaching, issuing warnings to those who are ready to blindly accept their fates.

Montana Duke

You think you were born in the wrong generation and frequently reminisce about the '80s. You are probably a true crime junkie and obsess over serial killers like Richard Ramirez, Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy. You are outgoing and friendly, but you hold grudges and constantly want revenge against those who have wronged you.
