Ohio secured a victory against Adrian on Thursday. The Bobcats held a steady lead throughout the game and won 4-3.
The Bobcats ended the first period with two goals by Noah Holt and one by Luc Reeve, shutting out the Bulldogs.
Adrian scored early in the second period, getting on the board and making the score 3-1.
Hollander Thomson scored an SHG with the assist from captain Sam Turner; followed by Bulldog player Nash Hatcher scoring his second goal of the game, bringing the score to 2-4.
With a two-point lead at the end of the second period, the Bobcats came back into play strong and confident for the second half of the game.
With 1:55 remaining, Adrian scored, putting pressure on Ohio. The Bobcats pulled together to secure the 4-3 victory over the Bulldogs.
Goaltender Scott Bird can be recognized as a major component of the game’s outcome. Bird made 27 saves, earning a save percentage of 90.
Noah Holt also led the Bobcats to victory with two goals and one assist.
