Today is Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:
Good morning,
It’s 2020, but the ’90s are still coming back into our lives.
Dunkaroos, which combine cookies and icing, will be coming back to American stores just for this summer. It will be the first time the treat will be sold in the U.S. since its discontinuation in 2012.
People all over social media celebrated the return of the beloved snack. The return was foreshadowed when Dunkaroos created Twitter and Instagram accounts in January, and the return was made official on Feb. 3 with a General Mills company blog post.
Only one flavor will be returning: vanilla cookies with vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
While there is no official release date yet, they have been confirmed to first be available in 7-Eleven stores across the country before other chains will be able to sell them.
