Despite jumping out to an early lead, Ohio wrestling fell to Cleveland State 23-12 Sunday afternoon at The Convo.
Ohio started the meet 6-0 before Cleveland State won the next five weight classes in a row. Once the Vikings took control of the meet, the best the Bobcats could muster were wins at 184 (Carson Brewer) and 197 lbs (Colin McNamara).
The Bobcats (1-8, 0-5 Mid-American Conference) have lost their last six meets but still could end the year on a strong note at the MAC Championships which go from Feb. 27-28.
