Baseball: Ohio set to face Marshall on Tuesday

The Bobcats will play host to Marshall on Tuesday, and they need a win after dropping two of three games against Central Michigan.

Ohio (5-16) will look to build off its win on Saturday against Central Michigan, when the Bobcats had its best hitting performance of the season. Ohio scored a season-high 12 runs and finished the game with a walk-off grand slam.

The Bobcats will have a tough time stopping The Thundering Herd, though. Marshall (14-8) has scored at least five runs in its last three games, something Ohio has done just five times this season.

The pitching will have to improve Tuesday for Ohio to have a chance. It gave up 22 runs in three days against Central Michigan.

First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Bob Wren Stadium.
