Women's Basketball: Ohio upset by Buffalo in MAC Tournament

Oho lost 72-60 to Buffalo on Wednesday in the MAC Tournament.

Coach Bob Boldon is right. Buffalo is better than Ohio.

After two losses against the Bulls in the regular season, the Bobcats snatched the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

Ohio’s two conference losses were to Buffalo.

Ohio’s first, and only game in the MAC Tournament, was a loss to Buffalo.

For the third time this season, Buffalo upset Ohio.

The Bobcats fell 72-60 in the quarterfinal of the MAC Tournament on Wednesday afternoon in Cleveland.

“This seems to be the team we have the most trouble with,” Boldon said. “Unfortunately we haven’t found an answer, and it seems as though we’ve run out of time trying to find one.”

Ohio still has at least one game remaining, though. With the regular season conference title, Ohio will play in the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) next week.
