To avoid a possible conflict of interest, The Post has discontinued the column Hope For Humanity, written by Bekki Wyss, who is running for an at-large Student Senate position under the Restart ticket.
We at the newspaper liked running her column and we hope you liked reading it, but we can’t guarantee space in our pages to anyone whose campaign we intend to objectively cover as news.
Until The Post publishes its endorsements the week of the election in April, the publication does not favor any candidate or party for any of the Student Senate positions. Reporters will remain objective regardless of the endorsements, which represent the majority opinion of The Post’s executive editors.
