Good Morning,

Ohio University is budgeted to spend around $40 million on renovating Jeff Hall. The project is almost complete, but at least one thing remains undecided about the newly renovated dorm: the furniture.

In an email sent to students Monday, OU Housing and Residence Life asked for students’ input on what furniture should be put in the hall.

Students can attend one of the “Jefferson Hall Furniture Shows” to vote on what kind of furniture they want to see in the new hall.

The showings will be held in the “South Pole” below Jeff Hall on the following dates:

- Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

- Thursday, Jan. 26 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

- Monday, Jan. 30 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

It is worth noting, though, that Jeff hall is going to be an exclusively freshman dorm next year, making those “furniture shows” irrelevant to most current students.
