Ohio University's governing body voted almost unanimously to increase tuition by $156 for the coming year at their meeting. Campus Editor Will Drabold reports.

The Board also approved spending money on improvements to Alden Library heating and cooling, along with other changes to the facility. Campus writer Will Gibbs reports.

A $31.6 million renovation of McCracken Hall, home to the university's education college, also got underway. The work will add a fourth floor, an outdoor classroom and a 34,000 square foot addition, among numerous other changes. Campus writer Alisa Warren reports.

The board also heard a presentation about more record-breaking enrollment numbers, and an update on the university's move to implement a tobacco-ban. Campus Staff Writer Maria DeVito and Campus writer Jeremy Hill report.
