Ohio University men's basketball recently tweeted out a photo of The Convo receiving new seating.
The Convo is receiving a makeover with Ohio Athletics replacing seats in the top half of the stadium early this month.
Ohio men’s basketball’s Twitter account tweeted, “Out with the old, in with the new.” along with a picture of the stadium Friday morning.

Opened in Dec. 3, 1968 with a construction cost of $8.2 million, The Convo seats about 13,080 for Ohio basketball, volleyball and wrestling events.
Since its opening, men's basketball has won more than 75 percent of its home games, including undefeated records during the 1969-70 and 1984-85 seasons.
Chessa Field, where women’s soccer plays, also seems to be getting a facelift. In May, coach Aaron Rodgers tweeted out a picture of the field being worked on.

Recently, Athletics has attempted to refurbish some of Ohio’s older sports facilities including the renovation of Pruitt Field in 2012 and the construction of Walter Fieldhouse and the Sook Center.
