Ohio was picked to win the MAC in the latest coaches' poll.
After the best season in program history last year, Ohio was picked to win the Mid-American Conference again in 2015-16, according to a coaches’ poll released Tuesday.
The Bobcats were the unanimous pick to top the East Division and received 10 votes to win the conference in the regular season. All 12 coaches voted in the poll.
After the worst season in program history in 2012-13, when Ohio went 6-23, the team experienced a complete turnaround in 2014-15 — when the Bobcats went 27-5 and won both the regular season and conference tournament for the first time since 1985-86.
In addition, two Bobcats made the All-MAC Preseason East Team. Senior guard Kiyanna Black, who averaged 16.0 points per game last season and was the MAC Tournament MVP, was selected.

Ohio returns to The Convo on Nov. 7, in an exhibition game against Wilmington College.
