Say goodbye to the old Taylor Swift, because she killed her past in her latest video.
The video for “Look What You Made Me Do” opens in a graveyard with “Here lies Taylor Swift’s reputation” engraved on a headstone.
The video is dark and involves a lot of snakes. At one point, she stands on a mountain of Taylors from her past videos.
Her whole stance is to kill off any perceptions people might have of her. The edgier look is different for Swift, but it goes with the idea she’s trying to leave her past behind.
