Ohio will honor Treg Setty during his senior night Saturday.
It’s safe to say Ohio redshirt senior Treg Setty stands out among the team.
If it’s not the latest addition of a crown and doves to the tattoo on his right shoulder, Setty’s individuality also shines during interviews.
He once answered a Post reporter’s question, "Is a hotdog a sandwich?" with a quip about how the reporter was between him and another person, making the trio a sandwich.
In addition to his quirky personality, Setty is also a key player for the Bobcats in the way he alters a game with his streaky, midrange jumpshot and his 48 percent shooting record.
With all these unique qualities, it will be hard for players and fans to see Setty leave The Convo for the last time.
Setty will play his last game inside The Convo on Saturday, when Ohio welcomes Buffalo in its final home game of the season. Setty is the only senior on the team.
"There's a lot of emotions," Setty said. "Sad. Every good thing comes to an end."
Setty, who contemplated graduating and leaving Athens after Phillips' 10-win season in 2015, has helped the Bobcats to a potential No. 2 seed in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Despite losing to Bowling Green on the road, Ohio has remained within reach of the No. 1 seed because Akron, Kent State and Ball State all lost Tuesday night.
Regardless of where the Bobcats end up in Phillips' second season, Setty will be missed on and off the court.
His play, while inconsistent for the Bobcats, has helped bust zone defenses with floaters, awkward layups and creative ball handling.
He has posted career highs on almost every statistical category (points, minutes, starts and rebounds), including a career-high of 20 points against UC Riverside on Dec. 30.
Like his play on the court, Setty's off-the-court behavior and tattoos have encapsulated his creativeness and growth.
From his "Treginometry" Twitter handle, his passion and his honesty in post-game interviews, Setty has been a comforting sight for Ohio fans.

"One of the things I love about this job is that you get to watch people mature, progress. ... You get to watch people evolve," Ohio coach Saul Phillips said. "And Treg's progress in terms of his mental approach got much more steady over the last two years."
Setty said his first real time being embraced by Ohio's fanbase was a nine-point outing against Buffalo during his first year in Athens.
It's only fitting he'll be embraced one final time Saturday against Buffalo.
"I was blessed to be able to be here for as long as I was and to experience some of the things I was able," Setty said. "Really, I'm just thankful."
