A dead body was found in Wilson Hall on Saturday, but there is no ongoing threat to the safety of Athens or Ohio University, according to the Ohio University Police Department.
OUPD released a statement on Twitter Saturday evening after the hall was investigated at about 6:37 p.m. Saturday.
It is not known if the person was a resident of Wilson Hall, and there is no more information available at this time, according to OUPD.
