Police are still looking for a man who held up the Chase Bank at 920 East State St. in Athens earlier today.
At about 2:50 p.m. a man walked into the bank and robbed it using what looks like a semi-automatic silver handgun, according to a media release from Athens Police Department.
A suspect has not been named; however, Athens Police have released a photo of the suspect.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Chase Bank officials were able to confirm there was a robbery, but have not responded to calls at press time.
