Freeform kept a pretty little secret quiet for awhile, but now it’s out.
The channel announced Monday a pilot has been ordered for a Pretty Little Liars spinoff. The show titled Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will welcome back Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish as Alison Dilaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal.
The show is based on another book series by Sara Shepard and will be adapted for the silver screen by I. Marlene King. The show will take place in Beacon Heights where everything seems perfect, but a murder sparks unrest in the town.
The spinoff comes just months after the Pretty Little Liars series finale. The series attempted another spinoff in 2013 that was set in the spooky town of Ravenswood. The series was canceled after just one season as it failed to maintain ratings.
