We had a good paper yesterday.
Among other things, it included coverage of a protest against tuition hikes that pitted students against administrators, the forum for a dean of students candidate who identifies as gay and hopes to be a good influence for students, the third story in our “Aiding Athens series and our Student Senate and Graduate Student Senate endorsements.
It’s very likely that fewer students than normal picked up yesterday’s paper though, because almost 1,000 of them — that we know of — were stolen from some of our most prominent drop-off points on campus.
We put a lot of work into that issue. We don’t know who took the papers or why, but we hope anyone with information is willing to come forward.
