Ohio will play Ball State in a three-game series on Friday in Muncie, Indiana, as the Bobcats, currently sixth in the Mid-American Conference, begin a crucial seven-game road trip to finish the regular season.
Ohio (16-27, 10-10 MAC) is just one game ahead of Northern Illinois for the last MAC Tournament spot. Ball State (30-17, 14-5 MAC) hasn’t lost a series since it lost two of three games against Central Michigan in early April. The Cardinals are also an exceptional home team and enter Friday with a 14-1 record at Ball Diamond at First Merchants Ballpark.
