Good morning,
If you’re a vegan or a vegetarian, ordering at Chipotle just got a lot easier.
Earlier this week, the restaurant expanded its line of diet-based bowl to include vegan- and vegetarian-specific options. The new “plant-powered bowls” include rice, beans, salsa and a plant-based protein. The vegan bowl contain sofritas, while the vegetarian bowl has fajita veggies.
Chris Brandt, Chipotle's chief marketing officer, said the bowls don’t contain any new ingredients or add-ons. They’re only available as “pre-configured options” on Chipotle’s website and mobile app.
