Comedian and Mike & Molly actor Billy Gardell is ditching Molly for a day to perform at Ohio University’s Dads Weekend.
Aside from Mike & Molly, where Gardell plays Mike to Oscar nominated Melissa McCarthy’s Molly, this Pittsburgh-native also co-starred in the television series Lucky.Gardell also made appearances in other shows including My Name is Earl, Monk,and The Practice.
As part of OU’s Performing Arts Series, Gardell will bring the laughs as he hosts an evening of stand up for an audience at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. His comedic background boasts several television specials, including Comedy Central’s “Billy Gardell: Halftime” and Showtime’s “Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs.” He currently makes regular appearances on CBS Sports’ NFL Today.
Tickets can be purchased for pre-sale June 5-6 directly through the MemAud ticket office, or online starting June 9 at noon.
