College partiers everywhere are pouring one out for the end of the largest college party in the nation.
After 15 years of throwing some of the biggest college parties every spring, Number Fest has officially come to an end. The Number Fest Facebook page announced 2019 was the last year the all-day party would take place.
The music festival began in 2004, showcasing hip hop and electronic artists, some nationally known, on stages with crowds upwards to 20,000 people. It has brought in headliners such as Kendrick Lamar, Lil Dicky, Wiz Khalifa, the Chainsmokers and more.
Since its inception, the annual music festival was a BYOB event until 2016, according to a previous Post report. It wasn’t until 2018 that it brought back the BYOB policy, where attendees of the fest could bring their own non-glass bottles.
Over the years, attendance has dropped significantly, which could be due to students’ disappointment in the fest lineup, according to a previous Post report.
