Ohio was awarded three spots on the All-Mid-American Conference teams, as announced by the MAC early Tuesday afternoon.
German native Anouk Plaehn earned the highest honor with an All-MAC First Team selection. This is Plaehn’s third straight time appearing on the All-MAC lists, but the first time being on the first team. The junior back led Ohio with four game-winning goals and four defensive saves.
Marie de Grande, Ohio’s standout freshman, was awarded for her efforts with a selection to the All-MAC Freshman Team. De Grande finished her first season with a 40% shot percentage, the second-best on the team. The Belgian native played all 17 games for Ohio and saw increased playing time as the season progressed.
Senior leader Bodhi Littlefield was selected to the All-MAC Second Team after a season with 8 total points, including four goals.
Ohio will be in action Wednesday night for the opening round of the MAC tournament against rival Miami.
