Ohio made it look easy on Friday night at Bloomsburg.
The Bobcats went on a streak of eight straight wins, including a Bloomsburg forfeit at 149 pounds, that motored them to a 34-9 victory over the Huskies.
Sophomore Mario Guillen and senior Cam Kelly picked up right where they left off last week and started the run with a major decision and a technical fall, respectively, to get an early 9-6 lead after three bouts.
After that, the Bobcats didn’t look back.
Zac Carson and Nick Vestal both won regular decision victories after Bloomsburg’s forfeit, drawing the lead to a daunting 15 points with four matches to go.
Freshman Logan Stanley then finally saw his first dual win of his career, pinning his opponent in just the second period.
The only slip ups came at the beginning and the end of the match for Ohio. Trevor Giallombardo was pinned, and heavyweight Zack Parker lost in a close decision.
With wins in every weight class from •133-197 pounds, Ohio won its •fourth of its last •five duals and advanced to •7-5 in duals this season.
This hot streak will need to be carried on this weekend as Ohio faces Buffalo on the road on •Sunday.
