Letter to the Editor: Thank you interim President Descutner

Interim President Descutner,

Thank you for standing up to these irresponsible whiners. I was arrested and deported from the United States for breaking the law while participating in a non-violent protest against the Vietnam War in 1967. There is no place for irresponsibility in non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. never tried to wiggle their way out of legal responsibility for their non-violent actions. Indeed, it is the very willingness to bear this responsibility that earns the respect of the public for the lawless act. By seeking to avoid such responsibility, the OU 70 sacrifice that respects and reveal themselves as the irresponsible whiners that they are.
