Host Matt Parker and football beat writer and Post Sports Editor Spencer Holbrook sat down and discussed Ohio’s impressive 52-14 win over Ball State on Oct. 25.
Two key factors in the Bobcats’ Mid-American Conference win were their run game and stout defense. The offense totaled six rushing touchdowns behind 400-plus yards on the ground, while the defense only let in two scores. Over the past two weeks, Ohio’s defense has only allowed four scores.
Earlier in the season, the defense had plenty of question marks, but it seems they’ve been answered as the team heads into November play on the road at Western Michigan.
