Friday, Ohio University students and football fans can step onto the field and be a part of the team during the Bobcats' third annual Picture Day.
The gates of Peden Stadium will open to the public at 2:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to get their pictures taken with the whole team, individual players, head coach Brian Knorr or the Bobcat himself. Admission is free, and participants should bring their own cameras, and pens and paper for autographs.
"It's a chance for people to just come out and say hi to the guys that they know and maybe meet the new guys and bring their kids out and let them talk to the Bobcat," said Jim Stephen, sports information coordinator.
Stephen said anywhere from 75 to 150 people are expected to attend.
"The weather plays a factor, but it should be a nice day," he said.
Stephen said the team will be in full uniform and will take their team photo at this time as well. Representatives of the Ohio Athletics ticket staff also will be present to discuss ticket sales for the upcoming season.
Participants are asked to enter Peden Stadium through Gate 1, located on the field's west side. The event will last about an hour.
