Good morning,
Spotify is letting artists put up virtual donation pages through the app to help artists get through the pandemic.
Artists who are struggling to make ends meet right now can link their own pages, their friends’ pages or organization’s pages.
Spotify has said it will not be taking any cuts of the proceeds, and is partnering with several organizations to raise money for musicians, including MusiCares, PRS Foundation and Help Musicians.
The company says it will launch the feature soon, and artists can sign up here.
