This Saturday at 2 p.m., the legendary McDonald’s Szechuan sauce is coming to select McDonald’s restaurants.
After the world was exposed to the limited release Szechuan sauce from the 1990s in the season premiere of Rick and Morty, the internet has demanded that McDonald’s bring it back. Multiple petitions were released for the return of the sauce, and this Saturday fans will get their wish.
Ohio University students can get their hands on some of that sweet sauce at the Mcdonald’s on Richland Avenue. The entire list of restaurants that will have the sauce can be found here.
McDonald’s will also be releasing limited edition Szechuan sauce-themed posters along with the rest of the sauces in their lineup.
Fans of the sauce will need to be ready on Saturday, because there’s a limited supply and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Yours truly is planning on getting there a hour early to make sure I get to try this once-in-a-lifetime sauce.
