Athens County Sheriff's Office looking for escaped correctional facility inmate

As of Thursday morning, the whereabouts of the escaped inmate, Orville Lee Mullett, is unknown.

The Athens County Sheriff's Office is looking for an inmate from the SEPTA Correctional Facility in Nelsonville who walked off a job site Wednesday.

As of Thursday morning, the whereabouts of the escaped inmate, Orville Lee Mullett, is unknown.

Mullett, a 26-year-old Piketon resident, is described as a 5-foot-10, white male with brown hair and green eyes weighing 120 lbs., according to a news release from Athens County Sheriff Rodney Smith.

The inmate was last seen wearing a blue coat with a hood, a black sweatshirt, light colored blue jeans and gray shoes. According to the release, Mullett may also be with his girlfriend, Jessica McKee, a 27-year-old also from Piketon.

McKee was last known to drive a 2004 light blue Hyundai Santa Fe.

Residents of SEPTA are non-violent, non-dangerous offenders who are eligible for probation, according to the facility's website.
